Process of compilation in python
Webb22 juni 2024 · One of the features of Python is automatic garbage collection. Without going into much detail, it is a process that makes your life easier through automated memory management, i.e., memory deallocation for unused objects. Garbage collection can impact execution times, as it can happen during the timing of your code block. WebbPython first compiles your source code (.py file) into a format known as byte code . Compilation is simply a translation step, and byte code is a lower-level, and platform-independent, representation of your source code. Compiled code is usually stored in .pyc files , and is regenerated when the source is updated, or when otherwise necessary.
