The only studio version I can find is with Tommy Cogbill on bass. Did Duck play this tune at, or did Tim Tindall make a mistake on this? Click to expand... WebJan 14, 2013 · My favorite Cogbill line is a toss-up between "Son Of A Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield, and "Chain of Fools" from Aretha. I just picked up a remastered version of "Lady Soul", with an alternate edit of "Chain of Fools". Very tasty stuff through out, including that great simple line on "Natural Woman". John. Anyway, if some of you have a version which is much clear for the bass part, please tell me (or a cover if you feel it is really perfect regarding the original, but I am not confident in covers to be matching perfectly the original).
