I am a relatively new rifle shooter. Having good results with shooting off the benchrest with sandbags (actually Caldwell Tack Driver and a rear shooting bag). I purchased a Harris bipod and tried it with a previous rifle (Savage 10 FCP-SR), but was not impressed with its stability. The pegs "rolled back" after each shot.
