Alky has an octane rating in the mid 140's, no need to take the timing out like you do on gas. I', sure the 100 hp is a help,but the reduction of manifold air temps in the 160 to 190* range cooled over 100* is getting me gitty!! Air temp of 50 to 70* is like WINTER air!

It performed very well and was noticeably more powerful as well. Later, I moved up to the Magnum plate system, it ran very good also.
